FOSTERING PROGRAMS

Become a sponsor of a wolf or dog!

Would you like to be more involved in the life of one of our wolves or dogs? With a sponsorship starting at €35 per month, you support the care and upkeep of your favorite animal – for a year or longer. A sponsorship or friendship also makes a wonderful and meaningful gift.

What you can expect as a sponsor:

• Your personal sponsorship certificate
• Regular newsletters with news about your sponsored animal
• An invitation to the sponsorship meeting once a year, a voucher for a day's admission to the Ernstbrunn Wildlife Park (valid until the end of 2026*)
• A large-format WSC photo calendar, sent annually by mail

*Sponsorship program from 2027 on - this is what you can expect:
Donations for sponsorships are no longer fully tax-deductible due to a decision of the tax office. The new regulation stipulates that the value of thank-you services (e.g. calendars, visits) must be deducted from the tax-deductible amount. We are therefore reacting and adapting the program from 2027 - so that your sponsorship remains deductible to the highest possible extent in the future.

• A voucher for one of the visiting programs "Adventure Tour", "Howl Night", or "Advent Evening"
• Large-format WSC photo calendar, annually by post

General donations to the WSC as well as "Small" or "Large friendships" are not affected by this and continue to be tax-deductible in full. 

Become a friend of one of our wolves or dogs

You can become a "Big friend" for € 15,00/monthly or a "Small friend" for € 10,00/monthly.

Optimal keeping of our animal partners is costly ... 

Optimal wolf or dog keeping needs:

• big, well maintained enclosures with retreat areas 
• occupation by the human caregivers: regular enrichment, "brain jogging" and the incentives for physical movement 
• optimal veterinary care 
• diverse and appropriate food  

Together this all costs approximately € 30,000,- per animal per year.
