News about Geronimo:
Geronimo is our photographic model. He has one this typical facial mask of timber- and european wolves. Somehow he seems to know how awesome he is, because he loves posing to the camera. If we hold a photoshoot for amateur photographers, he willingly jumps on the roof of the shelter, or he stands on a tree stump and looks into distance raising his head.
As a research partner, Geronimo is very kooperative and successful. He seems to be a very inteligent animal, but he shows not to have too much patience when things don’t happen exactly the way he wanted them to.
Geronimo is currently fitting together in a small pack with Tatonga.
Geronimo as a youngster:
Geronimo is our little Rambo. He cries and howls so long, until somebody feeds him or protests loudly if somebody is careless and wakes him up. On the side, he was also the first one to search for body contact with Bea, to sleep close to a human.
