Diary entry, 30.05.2010, guest
Today we were out in the rain. During the first guided tour it drizzled just a little bit and during the second guided tour it rained a lot and it thundered. While the tourists could put on their cagoules (of course I forgot mine), the wolves were quite unimpressed by the foul weather. As always Cherokee obeyed the commands, he sat, laid down and jumped on the box as instructed, while Geronimo observed curiously from the other side of the enclosure – on the other side the grass is always greener and more importantly the food is tastier.
Marianne, who is here again for one month to do her tests, was able to get the dogs wet and dirty after each walk. Back in the enclosure the dogs made sure that we were as dirty and wet as they were. After several seconds in their enclosure you don’t have to worry about the muddy way home, it can’t get worse anyway.
