New improvements at the Wolf Science Center

This week, our reason to celebrate is our new animal kitchen, at the test building. We have been planning this for some time now (especially Rita, our “planner trainer”). The idea was that the furniture and appliances were resistant but, at the same time, practical. This is because when we are working with the animals, especially the wolves, we must be fast, not letting them waiting – to prepare their “snacks” for the training sessions (they love cheese!), as well as whole meals. And, fortunately, it seems that the new kitchen matches perfectly our needs! It’s simple, but also resistant and practical.
Other improvements also took place in our facilities: the new seminar room is now ready and working with a pretty tight schedule. It has been used for some seminars, like the Pilot Management seminars, for the Photo Shooting theoretical parts, as well as for our weekly scientific meetings, the Jour Fixes.
The camera system is also already installed, and the computer system is being finalized these days. It is incredible how, with the help of specialized professionals, these services have been done fast! Thanks to them and to all the people who helped us, soon the test building will be used in its full capacity and, as a result, we’ll be able to develop more research to understand better our animals, and to publish the new knowledge, so then more people will have access to this!
