Winter has come!

For about one week now I have had to scrape the ice off my windshield before driving to WSC. Also, the scarves and beanies already got fished out of the back of the closet…one might refuse to believe it but all this sounds like the cold season has come.
Nevertheless winter also has its good sides: The wolves are adjusting to the cold and present themselves in their beautiful thick winter coat. Very impressing is also the male deer, who´s roar can be heard from far now that it´s rutting season.
From All Saint´s Day on the Wild Park will be open only on Sundays and Holidays. But if you don´t want to miss our wolves on normal working days – no problem! You can book private tours also during winter time. Just write an E-Mail to fuehrungen@wolfscience.at. By the way: Winter is the most active time of the year for the wolves so it might be worth a visit!
