Hey! I am Svenja and I am doing an internship at the WSC. I study Biology with main focus on zoology in Tübingen …
The Ernstbrunn Game Park is situated at the very core of one of the historic heartlands of Austria, amidst the "Leiser Berge", one of the most beautiful and relaxed areas of the "Weinviertel". Embedded in rolling hills and pitoresque and lush oakwoods, the Park is a recreational family environment per excellence.
The Ernstbrunn Game Park hosts a variety of deer, sizable herds of wild sheep in large enclosures which are accessible to visitors. Chamois and ibex can be watched climbing steep rocky cliffs, which also provide breeding sites for wild eagle owl. Aside of boar and other indigenous wildlife, wolves in spacious enclosures are among the top attractions.
Children will love the adventurous play ground, featuring a wooden castle and they will enjoy the opportunity to get into close contact with sheep and goats.
The Game Park is overlooked by the historic and majestic Ernstbrunn castle, which is surrounded by a large park-like woodlands with some of the largest and oldest ash and oak trees in the country.
This park is open to the public and provides ample opportunities for romantic nature walks. Dogs are allowed on the leash.
The Ernstbrunn Game Park is open
