Having studied Theater Sciences at the University of Vienna and after many years of working in Pharmaceutical Marketing - I read about Friederike Range's and Zsofi Viranyi's “Clever Dog Lab" and I promptly registered myself and my clever dog Pila by email . Being at the end of a long waiting list, we had little chance of being accepted, but hope springs eternal !
One day - I was surprised and delighted to receive the first newsletter from the WSC. Sender : Friederike Range.
Ever since my childhood, I've been fascinated by the comparative behavioral science research by Konrad Lorenz. I have a collection of all his books and several times I had visited his "Gray Geese" on Alm Lake in Grünau.
And now this Scientific Wolf Project—straight in my laptop!
I was excited !
I responded spontaneously offering my free services and participation, and had the good fortune of having Friederike's respond to me with an invitation to attend a round table at Ernstbrunn. The WSC urgently needed support for their Guided Tours and I was eager to learn more about this project.....
So here I am now, working two Sundays a month, guiding the tours of the compound, where I find the attendees express enormous interest in this exciting Ethological Project.
I am happy and thankful to be a part of the WSC team - and needless to say I have fallen in love with all our wolves and dogs....
