Hey! I am Svenja and I am doing an internship at the WSC. I study Biology with main focus on zoology in Tübingen …
As typical for “Eurasier” (a German dog breed composed of Wolfspitz, Chow-Chow and Samojeds some 30 years ago; www.eurasier-club-austria.at), female Bolita, born 2006, is not really keen in retrieving objects, fetching balls, or playing other childish games which would interfere with her dignity.
In general, pleasing their owners is not among the prime interests of these dogs. Still, Bolita is friendly and attached, shows the typical social competence and nearly wolf-like fine-tuning of social communication of her breed. This not only justifies her position as highly regarded member of the Kotrschal family, but also earns her a job as a wolf educator. In our own interest, we wish her a roaring success.
