Favourite animal at the WSC Banzai
Favourite howling Wamblee

In February 2013 I got to know the Wolf Science Center as a student while I was doing my project "Observational Spatial Memory in Timber Wolves" here as a master thesis in Wildlife Ecology and Wildlife Management. I stayed here for 8 months and became truly attached to the people and animals.

As a bonus, I could take home a very lively souvenir from the WSC - Bashira, who is now called Mali, is a former WSC-dog and lives with me now.

In the spring of 2015 I graduated and was subsequently looking for a job where I could put my heart and soul in - a job that inspires me and definitely should be involved in wildlife reserach. Of course, I always also had the WSC in mind and when I heard that they were looking for an Operations Manager is was immediately interested.

During my study, I worked for 2 years at a company that exports shed deer antlers. I was responsible for sales, the onlineshop, marketing and trade shows. These experiences are very useful for my work at the WSC.

My tasks here include the coordination and support of all visitor programs, the looking after students and interns, updating the website and coordinating our social media appearance.

I am very happy to get the chance to work at the WSC again and every day I am glad that I can support the research with wolves and dogs.
