The Wolf Science Center was established in June 2008 in the"Almtal" near to Grünau in Upper Austria. The Cumberland wildpark was our first residence.

We had a wonderful time in a heavenly scenery. This certainly was one of the most relaxed periods for the collaborators of the Wolf Science Center, while having plenty of time for the animals.

Our lodging was an old goat shelter barely renovated by ourselves (yet there was a draught through all the gaps). There was no warm water, but only one cooking plate and the WC was in a distance of about 200 m. The enclosure spanned 500 m2  and was located directly near the kiosk of the wild park.
